We do not qualify for foodstamps because they calculate using your gross income, not taking into consideration taxes, medical insurance and things like that. I cannot sell plasma because I'm only 98lbs and my blood pressure is low, in addition to a genetic disease called Nail Patella Syndrome. I've already tried angel food ministries, but there is no distributor within a 50 mile radius of where we live.
I'm getting scared. We have no meat in the freezer, and only a few cans of tuna left. I don't know what we're going to do. I've gotten all the food that I can from the local food pantries, and now I can't get any more until next month. My checking account is overdrawn from paying mortgage and rent. I'm lost. I have nothing to sell, and no one in my family is in a position to help either. Someone help. Someone help us out of this downward spiral, we need a hand up.
My name is Christi Green, and my husband and I have been married for nearly 8 years. We have 4 wonderful children together that we homeschool. My husband has the same job he has had for the last 3 years. Unfortunately, what he brings in monthly barely pays the space rent and mortgage for the home we live it, but doesn't make much past that. We are in debt and in trouble. I have fibromyalgia and a genetic disease called Nail Patella syndrome, and am unable to work due to the problems that come with both of these contitions. Three of our four children have Nail Patella syndrome also, and we all require more medical care than most people do. Our youngest child does not have Nail Patella Syndrome, but was recently diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (a form of autism). I just had surgery in January, and in June require surgery again, for a hernia. I cannot pay my medical bills, and we have no food and our utilities will be shut off soon. I've gotten all the food I can this month from the local food banks, and cannot receive any more until next month. My children are growing out of thier shoes, and one child, has no shoes that fit her anylonger. We homeschool our wonderful children, and are trying very hard to raise them to be bright, kind, and useful members of society. They are young, our son in 9, and our 3 daughters are 6, 4 and 3. Our checking account is overdrawn, and has been for the last 3 weeks. When my husband's check gets direct deposited, it barely, and not always, pays it back into the red, if it does at all. He is trying so hard to support us, and we are both discouraged, and unable to see a solution to our dilemma. We are hungry because we have no meat. We have canned food in the pantry that we've gotten from foodbanks, but our freezer is empty. When we get meat, we feed it to our children, but we aren't getting much if any at all. I'm scared to death. My husband needs new work boots, as he has blown a hole in the side of his, but we have no money to buy him new ones. There are so many other people that have needs that are just as important, or even more so. I hate to ask for charity, and I feel ashamed that we're in this spot. If you can find it in your heart to help, even a little, we would be so grateful. We have no other option but to ask. Even if you cannot help, I understand, we are not alone in this economy, so I ask that you at least say a prayer for us. We pray every day for this crumbling economy, and we are all looking for brighter days. Thank you for reading this, and if you want to know any more, or have questions, please don't hesitate to ask! My email address is email@example.com and I thank you for your time.
I am trying to find one of the special needs conselors to help my daughter, but I homeschool, so we can't get services through the school district.
I tried the angelfoodministries.com link, and they don't have any distribution centers within a 50 mile radius, so I guess I can't order through them.
I'm heading to your page righ now to check out the other links that you said were on there, and I thank you for your help. God bless you.
